I enjoy having discussions and sharing opinions with family, friends, and colleagues regarding books that we find impactful. Here is a list of books that I have found especially instrumental in my development as a person and as an educator. I believe that reading books that bend our perceptions of what we think we know about life is important. Also, allowing myself to read often historically based and often terrifying works of fiction and non-fiction has inspired me to look inward and to change for the better.
